Cookie management policy
The alpha-rfa.com site restricts the use of cookies and trackers to those strictly necessary for its operation. No third-party cookie is placed until you have given your explicit consent, in accordance with Article 82 of the French Data Protection Act (Loi Informatique et Libertés) and the 2020 guidelines of the Commission nationale de l'informatique et des libertés (CNIL, French data protection authority).
What is a cookie
A cookie is a small text file placed on your device (computer, smartphone, tablet) when you visit a website. It allows the site to recognise your browser between two pages, to remember certain choices (language, consent) or to measure audience. This policy covers both cookies in the strict sense and similar technologies (local storage, session storage, pixels, browser fingerprinting) where they produce equivalent effects.
Strictly necessary cookies
These cookies are essential to the operation of the site and do not require your consent. They store, for example, your choice regarding the information banner, or the CSRF security token of the contact form for the duration of your visit.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
rfa_consent | Stores your choice on the cookie banner (accept, decline). | 13 months |
PHPSESSID | Technical session identifier, required for contact form validation (anti-CSRF). | Session (expires when the browser is closed) |
Audience measurement cookies
No audience measurement cookie is currently placed on alpha-rfa.com. If such a measurement were to be introduced in the future (for example via a statistics tool benefiting from the CNIL exemption), it would be preceded by an update of this policy and, where the exemption does not apply, by the explicit collection of consent via the banner.
Third-party cookies and sharing with the firms mentioned
The site does not load any script from advertising platforms, social networks or cross-site tracking tools. Links to the external sites of the firms mentioned (Top 3, official list, possible partners) do not activate any cookie until you actually click on them. When you access one of these third-party sites, their own policy applies, independently of this policy.
Managing and withdrawing consent
You may change your choices at any time. To reopen the information banner, click the button below. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before such withdrawal.
You can also configure your browser to block, limit or delete cookies. The procedure varies for each browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge). The CNIL publishes a detailed guide on its official website. Blocking all strictly necessary cookies may render certain features of the site inoperative, in particular the submission of the contact form.
Your rights
In accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and French Act no. 78-17 of 6 January 1978 as amended, you have, in respect of any data processed, a right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection. These rights may be exercised via the contact form. In the event of any difficulty, you may lodge a complaint with the CNIL, 3 place de Fontenoy, 75007 Paris, or online at cnil.fr.
